CA Women Lead Round table Discussion on Racism and Violence Against the Black Community
Since the brutal murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd, communities are rising up across the country and engaging in large-scale protest, meaningful discussion, and promising change.
On June 26th at 12pm, CA Women Lead is holding space for a virtual round table discussion on the issues of systemic racism and violence against the black community, and how we can support solutions for real change. Board Member, Dr. Diandra Bremond, will serve as moderator, and will be joined by Board of Equalization Chair, Malia Cohen, Assembly member Sydney Kamlager-Dove, and others.
This will be an environment for active listening, candid discussion, and uncovering ways we can all tackle ingrained, systemic racism in America.
