Today is Swearing-in Day for Governor Gavin Newsom and the State Legislature. It will be a busy week filled with new beginnings, a new state budget and welcome ceremonies. CA Women Lead congratulates our incoming President Mona Pasquil on her new appointment to the State Personnel Board. Mona was Governor Jerry Brown’s Appointments Secretary and has been a longtime public servant.

We are proud of board member Fiona Ma and her swearing in as our state’s new Treasurer, former Vice President Betty Yee starting her second term as State Controller (also top vote getter in the 2018 November election NATIONALLY!) and Eleni Kounalakis, the first women elected Lieutenant Governor!
