As California’s longest standing nonpartisan association of women leaders, California Women Lead works to advance the role of women at all levels of government by enhancing and strengthening women's leadership contributions through nonpartisan training, education programs and network development opportunities. We value the power of community and know the impact that women can make at all levels of government and beyond when they are supported by a dynamic network of women leaders from across different industries, sectors and fields.
Membership
California Women Lead’s diverse membership represents a wide range of ages, professional backgrounds, political views, and geographical areas. Together, we are leading a bold movement to advance the role of women at all levels of government through appointments to decision-making boards and commissions, so that all Californians are truly represented.
Through California Women Lead’s webinars and programs, more women than ever before have applied for–and obtained–appointments at the state and local level, and have made their move to run for elected office and WIN. Women who never thought they could serve in elected and appointed positions are now leaders in their communities, with the help of the California Women Lead network.
